Gemstones are beautiful
This necklace represents hope in something larger than yourself.
It is delicate, beautiful and ebraced with jewels.
Smoky quartz and emerald green crystals sparkle like a glazier in the sun.
Absolutely georgous.

The desire lives on
I am back to write a few words on what is going on in the mind of a 20 year old designer and small business owner. I am going to be 21 in a couple of months and am SO excited. Another mile stone to meet. FINALLY! I am a wife, a home owner and most recently a small home-based business owner. I do not have kids, that is the one thing I am going to make sure is done absolutely right (: I can't wait to share that experience with my husband, but I do want to make sure that my children will have the best parents possibe, so we have some work to do before that time comes.
I am trying to keep up with working full time, going to college to get that degree I need to make some good money in this fabulous world, my wonderful husband and my black lab kyrie. There is alot of work that comes with all of this craziness.
I love designing, and making pieces of artwork through jewelry. That is what it is ALL about for me. But in order to make mony off this, I also need to make simple, day -to- day jewelry that everyone can enjoy. I will be committing more of my time to PurdeyDesigns as time allows, and in the future I hope to either have my own boutique, or have so many venues for my jewelry that it will be enough to equaly support having a full time jo. We shall see. Lets document this and see where I am, as well as where PurdeyDesigns is in 5 years. Thanks Dolls! Have a great day (:

Etsy love
Newest item in my shop!! This necklace is made with Patina Drops in earth tones. These have been stamped and sealed. The stamp pad designs are romantic writing of a love letter and romace patterns. This creates a dramatic look that is fun and flirty.

It's the little things that count
I have been adding things to my list of 'what to include in a package'. I started out simply sending my jewelry to a customer in a nicely gifted box. I expanded to adding hemp cord in multiple colors to add bows, personality and personal touch. I then included the receipt upon purchase and sign the bottom with a Thank You. I realized that the little extra things make a difference.
I already offer things that no one else can. I make jewelry that has my design and creativity in it. There is not single person out there that thinks just like me. BUT, there are MANY people out there that are very creative in their own way. It's time I depend on the little things to make a difference. I have received an item from two different people, and I must say one was coldly sent, while the other was sent with care. A nice little note simply saying enjoy and thank you made my day. The other, was in the envelope all on its own. And this was the second time I bought from this business/handmade seller.
It was truly dissappointing to not be remembered. I try to connect with my customers, and make them feel comfortable through the whole purchasing process. I want them to not only LOVE my designs, I want them to really enjoy doing business with me. Food for thought~ I am sure I am not the only one :)PurdeyDesigns.etsy.com

My First Blog
Hello to all you bloggers out there!
I am finally creating a blog for PurdeyDesigns. This may seem like a small step to most of you, but for me it is a big step. I am excited to finally release my designs, and my business to the world. This has been a working progress for over 2 years now. I love to create beautiful, unique jewelry and accessories and I love even more to share them with other people. God has blessed me in so many ways and I am so lucky to have all the support that I do. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and to stop by my Blog.
